Life (n.): a collection of experiences that continuously shape one's identity and existence.
Living (v.): actively experiencing; seizing any or every moment to try something new to ultimately add character and excitement to one's existence on Earth.
Don't get me wrong, I am NOT condoning people to "work" to obtain unemployment, because, really, then I would judge and categorize you for contributing to the unfortunately vast sector of Americans on welfare. But to be brutally honest, if it's given to you and you've got nothing to lose, why not look at it as an opportunity? Life is short. Have fun and enjoy it. If your lucky enough to receive unemployment in this trying era, use it to do things you would not be able to do while employed or may not be able to do when you have a family to support. There is no use losing hope or putting all of your eggs in one basket when your twenty-something. We've got our whole lives ahead of us and if our heads and hearts are in the right place, we will inevitably get what we deserve. So you know what all you debbie downers: start a revolution, pwn the recession by taking advantage. And to the rest of us, like myself, who are not on unemployment but are working hard to make ends meet, make sure you do whatever it takes to make life enjoyable. Don't waste your time in a job you hate because you're afraid that there is nothing else out there. It isn't money or your career that makes you who you are, it's how you take advantage of your time here on Earth.
I have listed below some ways to take advantage of the recession:
:Go back to school!
:Teach English Abroad
:Simply Go Abroad.
:Move to a different city and get a restaurant job (nyc being the most lucrative for this industry)
:Pick up an old hobby.
....All is not lost!
That is all.
